St. Thomas is a participating parish in the Virtus Protecting God's Children Program.

This training is for all adults (18+) of the parish who are clergy, employees or volunteers who work with children, elderly and the home-bound. 

 

The Archdiocese of Hartford and the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People mandates every employee and volunteer in our parish participate in the VIRTUS Protecting God's Children Program and completes a background check prior to beginning their work in any ministry. This is a one-time, 3-hour workshop. If you have not already attended this workshop, please register online to attend or by calling the Office of Safe Environment in the Archdiocesan offices at 860-541-6491.
